Start by wrapping a measuring tape around the circumference of your head, just above your ears and eyebrows. Where the tape overlaps is your measurement.
No measuring tape? No problem! Use a piece of string to mark the overlap, then measure the string.
Use the size chart to find where your optimal tactical helmet size should be.
Also, don't worry if you choose the wrong size. We offer an easy exchange policy!

To start with the pros. This is a balistic helmet for under $500 the rails and nvg shroud seem very high quality. If you're looking for good quality gear that wont break the bank HHV seams like the move. If i had to complain I would say the pads, and chin strap feel terrible. A little bit of paint was missing and the kevlar was visible. No biggie because it is so cheep and i can just buy after market ones if need be and rattle can/put a cover on. My biggest complaint is the size. This helmet is quite large even after measuring my head per the websites instructions. Again not the end of the world because it is under $500 and you get what you pay for and in my opinion this is still a great bang for your buck. If this helmet had the foam inserts like ops core uses, i think it would seem even better and solve some of the issues i feel like this helmet has.

As others have said, the padding system itself seems fine, the little stickers pads that hold the padding are not good. HHV will fix this going forward for others, right HHV? Easy fix, find stickers pads that stay and not fall off fellas.

Bad quality, sizing, and customer service

I measured my head and ordered the correct size according to their chart on the website. When it finally arrived it was laughably too large, despite their measuring guide. Further, the material of the helmet itself peels off with the foam padding if you remove it, which is only affixed into the helmet by some sort of light glue. The website says to email them at [****] for customer service issues, so I did and inquired about exchanging the helmet for a better fitting size. They still haven't gotten back to me, so now I'm left with a cheap helmet that doesn't fit. Very disappointed, shameful that they use the name veterans to represent them and have this kind of quality control and customer service.

Sizing- Ensure you are layering the pads for a custom fit to your head! The base layer is just the start. You can scan the QR code on the card that came with your helmet or see the video on the product page. If it still doesn't fit no problem on the exchange!
'Peels off'- Not 100% what you mean, but it sounds like the velcro on the inside of the helmet? This can be re-positioned as needed.
