The HHV ATE® GEN3 ballistic helmet is proudly made in Sweetwater, Texas with ballistic fibers from Dupont® (USA). Tested to NIJ Level IIIA, stopping a wide range of handgun threats, including 9mm, .357 SIG, and .44 Magnum rounds. Its aramid design reduces back face deformation and blunt impacts. It uses our Impact Padding System for a 100% customized fit along with our Fidlock Suspension System with tightening ratchet. The HHV ATE® GEN3 offers the perfect blend of lightweight design, superior protection, and exceptional comfort.

Watch Video: How to Measure Your Head

Start by wrapping a measuring tape around the circumference of your head, just above your ears and eyebrows. Where the tape overlaps is your measurement.
No measuring tape? No problem! Use a piece of string to mark the overlap, then measure the string.
Use the size chart to find where your optimal tactical helmet size should be.
Also, don't worry if you choose the wrong size. We offer an easy exchange policy!

ATE GEN3 HHV BALLISTIC HELMET

I recently purchased an ATE GEN3 HHV helmet from your store. The main reasons were it's made in USA using Dupont material.
It is rated to NIJ Level IIIa. The product is of high quality and the padding allows you to adjust to your needs.The helmet I selected was in stock and i received my order quickly.I am very pleased with this product and I would highly recommend it.
I watched videos on strap adjustment and was able to adjust the chin strap without problem.

Given as an upgrade!

Due to some confusion between workshop and office I had a few shipping errors with HHV's, they were very quick to respond and we got our problems not only sorted out, but for my inconveniences I was upgraded to this GEN3 helmet instead of the GEN2. It is better in terms of its overall fit and finish though around 200$ more expensive, but I'd assume their ballistic protection is about the same since its a kevlar/aramid shell. The retention system is great and will alone keep the helmet from coming off of my head, squeezing from back to front and also pulling two side pads above your temples so you get a 360 degree retention. I also really like the regular comfort pads it came with, they are the perfect size. I ALSO really like how I was able to easily adjust and customize the bump padding layer to accommodate the neck band for my Sordin headset. The standard bump pads along with the normal comfort pads is really really comfortable, if not a little hot (I do have a lot of hair though), so maybe I'd upgrade to the lattice pads that HHV also makes one day but for now the standard pads are very comfy.

Overall, being my first helmet and not wanting to blow 1200 dollars on a Team Wendy, I'm very happy with the product I've received and don't doubt its ballistic capability. It has been very comfortable and very customizable fit wise. My complaints are few and far between, and are very nitpicky if anything. I also really appreciate the support from HHV and some of the gentlemen reaching out personally to make sure my order was fulfilled... even if it took a bit of back and forth.. ;)

Thanks for a great product at a reasonable price point. Easily upgradeable as my budget allows, but no compromise in quality, and protection. Best of all, it's made in the United States. You've got a lifelong customer.

Very comfortable helemt ! A notable difference wearing the Gen3 vs ACH all day. Im never wearing that ACH ever again. HHV FTW! 🤘🏼 Also appreciate the hand written card i got in the mail a few days after the order arrived nice touch. Wi definitely be a long time customer.

Almost Perfect

I have been using the Helmet for a couple of weeks now as a replacement to the ACH. Love the price for the same protection rating, but the only problem I have with it is the included circle Velcro stickies. After placing them on and holding them down for about 60 seconds each, they still fall off. Other than this, I have no complaints!
