The HHV ATE® Lite is an ultralight ballistic helmet that doesn't sacrifice protection for weight. The helmet shell (1.6lbs) is made up of UHMWPE and aramid fibers, and utilizes our patent pending Micro Lattice Pads to increase comfort and decrease backface deformation. Proudly made in Sweetwater, Texas the ATE Lite is the next generation for the ATE lineup from Hard Head Veterans.

Start by wrapping a measuring tape around the circumference of your head, just above your ears and eyebrows. Where the tape overlaps is your measurement.
No measuring tape? No problem! Use a piece of string to mark the overlap, then measure the string.
Use the size chart to find where your optimal tactical helmet size should be.

One of the Best made helmets.
Love the new improved BOA adjustable retention system. The micro lattice helps keep your head cool and comfortable. Accepts Peltors and other popular coms. headsets all at an affordable price without compromising quality. Its worty of any opperator or civilian.

Received with OCP stickers with some already peeling since it didnt adhere. Chin strap when tightened is off set and to left the instead of center of face. The lightness is built for all day comfort. The additional ratchet on the back definitely add extra security.

Overall pretty happy with this helmet. It looks like some upgrades have been made since the original model, namely the suspension. The original baseball cap style adjustment just didn't pan out, mine broke within a couple weeks after multiple adjustments trying to get it right. Ive since rigged up my own shock cord retention to it which works better. Originally when I purchased this helmet I went off recommended sizing and bought a Large but was way too tight. HHV was great with the return and I got an XL which worked better. I ended up later switching from the 1 inch pads to the 3/4 inch pads and although I was outside the return window, HHV gave me a $50 discount on the pads and I sold the others online so it all worked out. The helmet I ended up with fits perfectly now, I noticed later on that the front of the helmet is deformed a bit from the manufacturing process with a dip in the front rim under the NODS mounting bracket. Not a bid deal just a minor flaw. The Mlok rails are a bit limiting but I've since removed them altogether. I think in the future it would be nice to have both sets of lattice given to find the perfect fit or include that in the order option for custom fits. Customer service is top notch and the returns were easy, HHV worked with me to get this thing squared away just took a few steps. I like the look of the new ratchet suspension I think that will be a game changer for anyone buying this helmet. Happy to get an American made lid and will always recommend this company.

The cushion is neat, but I don’t want to have to grab a skull cap in a hurry. (I’ll lose that)
