The CAPO Knife from Hard Head Veterans & Trained Monkey Blade Co. combines superior strength with sustainable practices. The handle is crafted from leftover aramid fibers - the same incredible material used in our ballistic helmets. During our helmet production, we prioritize precision cuts to ensure maximum protection. These leftover aramid fibers, though not scrap, are too small for our helmets but perfectly suited to create the rock-solid, lightweight handle of the CAPO Knife.

Knife Nerd Review

Saw this on LinkedIn and have been wanting to try out a blade from Trained Monkey. The fact that the handle was made from ballistic kevlar is simply cool! Shipped fast and the quality of this blade is much better than other knives I have at this price point. This isn't just a pretty piece; it's a precision tool. Well done, and I'll be checking out additional knives in the future.

Poor Craftsmanship

If you want a high quality knife, order from a reputable knife company like Toor Knives or Half Face Blades… At this price you’d expect a little bit of refinement, you definitely don’t get that from the Untrained Monkey. HHV took town my first review so apparently they only want you to hear the good and not the bad.
Id skip over this one fellas.

Hi Jake, info from Trained Monkey Blade!

'For the cutting edge not being straight…the cutting edge is hollow ground not the standard grind this individual is used to seeing. So he can be looking at the cutting edge and seeing the actual curvature of the grind which can throw a persons perspective (knowledge) off.

As far as the handle screws protruding out. All of those handle screws are countersunk in. The head of the handle screw will protrude out slightly being the aggressive contouring on the handles. So you will be able to see some of the head of the screw but I can assure you the head is still countersunk giving a secure connection.

This individual can always send the blade back to me and I can check and verify his concerns. If they are in fact what he says they are I can fix or replace for free on us.'
